Charchelly's Kitchen was created from a love of family, culture, and bold homemade flavor.
We bring together Puerto Rican favorites, soulful comfort food, Caribbean fusion, and classic American dishes made with care, seasoning, and heart. Every tray that leaves our kitchen is built to feel like Sunday dinner at home — generous, seasoned right, and made to be shared.

Meet the Chefs
Chef Michelle Barr
Chef Michelle Barr is an Arizona ESA paraeducator, homeschool educator, HSI CPR/First Aid Instructor, and entrepreneur with a passion for helping children learn through hands-on experiences. Michelle has extensive experience working with homeschool and special needs families and is dedicated to creating engaging educational opportunities that empower students both inside and outside the classroom. Her passion for food, education, and family inspired the creation of Charchelly's Culinary Academy.
Chef Charles Barr
Chef Charles Barr brings over 20 years of culinary experience to the academy. His background includes restaurant operations, line cooking, catering, and professional kitchen management. Chef Charles has worked in both large restaurant environments and smaller independently owned establishments, bringing real-world culinary knowledge and industry techniques directly into the classroom. His passion is mentoring young chefs and teaching students the discipline, creativity, and confidence that culinary arts can provide.
Charchelly's Culinary Academy proudly welcomes homeschool and ESA families and strives to provide meaningful educational enrichment opportunities throughout the community.
